Water Conservation Request
Summer is upon us and with it comes hot temperatures and increased outdoor water usage. Beginning in early June, Jefferson Water & Sewer District (JWSD) experiences higher water demands due to increased outdoor watering. During this high demand period, the JWSD water treatment plant runs continuously and processes as much water as possible, but there are times during long hot spells that we struggle to keep our water towers full.
Help by voluntarily reducing your outdoor water usage, especially during the long, hot, dry periods beginning in mid-June and continuing all summer.
