Water Disruption Notice
04/27/2026
Jefferson Water and Sewer District needs to repair a water main valve that is currently leaking which is located at the intersection of Clark State Road and Stratshire Lane. During this work, the water main needs to be turned off, which will affect all homes located on Clark State Road, from the intersection of Clark State Road and Havens Road, and extending west on Clark State Road to the intersection of Theori Ave. Homes in Stratshire Meadows will also be affected.
We have scheduled the work to begin at approximately 9:00 am, Monday, April 27, 2026. The contractor will work as quickly as possible to make the repair and to restore water service, but you may not have water between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm while they perform this work. Please plan accordingly.
Once water is restored upon completion of the work, please run the cold water in your bathtub to remove any discoloration that may exist and to remove any air that may be present in the lines. Please continue to run cold water until the water runs clear. You may also want to run other faucets within your home and run a washing machine cycle with no clothes in the washer to remove any discolored water.
Jefferson Water & Sewer District will provide information regarding the status of the repair on this site. Once the repair is completed and water service is restored, a notice will be posted. If you have further questions, call our office at (614) 864-0740, or email us at customerservice@jwsd.org.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience while this work is being performed. We apologize for this inconvenience.
